A NAZI Christmas

Christmas with Hitler - 10 Zen Monkeys
But the Nazis ultimately had an insidious agenda for the holiday, and Hitler's propaganda department could show Bill O'Reilly what a real war on Christmas looks like. "The Nazis were out to transform Christmas from a Christian holiday to a celebration of the family in a National Socialist context," writes professor Bytwerk. In 1943 the Nazis released a 64-page pamphlet for Advent which never mentions Jesus. A drawing of lonely soldiers is captioned:

O'Lielie is Stupid. - What I Learned in 2008 - Bill O'Reilly | The O'Reilly Factor
Tough year, no question. And once again, I'm sorry I did not warn you about the economic chaos. It caught me by surprise, and I got hammered in the market, too. But I did learn that I have to watch the financial stuff much more intently, so I will.
Strange I saw it coming.  When they were traying to pass the bail out bill the Market (DOW) was at 10400...  I know because I spent that day getting rid of every stock I owned.  I cleared my mutual funds and sold my stocks and bought bonds over the following month.

If anyone listens to the people who tell them to stay in a declining market...  You deserve what you get.  When the obvious is going to happen, react.

Also in 2008 I learned that there is no reasoning with the American media anymore. In the 12+ years I've been doing this program, I've seen the media devolve into an industry far more concerned with pushing ideology than delivering information to the folks.

Obviously, the bulk of the media in this country is liberal, and many of them are zealots. So if you are not liberal, watch out. You'll be slimed, attacked and vilified. Even at the network level there are no rules or standards anymore.

Now, I have seen this coming for a long time, but this year with Obama-mania and the vicious attacks on Sarah Palin, critical mass was reached. Just for a second, compare the treatment the media is giving Caroline Kennedy to what Sarah Palin received. Come on.

You know...  I think O'Lielie doesn't know he is a star of the # 1 cable news network.  Dear Billy, you are the media and you hate Obama 24/7.

Finally, I learned this year that "Factor" viewers and listeners are an elite unit. We have been able to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity because you have supported We've helped poor children, wounded warriors and their families, provided food and medical care for the destitute in Haiti, Africa and Mexico, funded programs for the homeless and provided mentors to fatherless kids. You guys made that possible, and we have shown that a television news program can make a difference to real people.

But I thought "MILLIONS" watched and listened to you Billy?  A measly couple hundred grand?  For shame.

The Rapture!

All Together Now!: 30GB Zunes Failing Everywhere, All At Once
Apparently, around 2:00 AM today, the Zune models either reset, or were already off. Upon when turning on, the thing loads up and... freezes with a full loading bar (as pictured above). I thought my brother was the only one with it, but then it happened to my Zune. Then I checked out the forums and it seems everyone with a 30GB HDD model has had this happen to them.

After my PC crashed due to a login bug...  Se below.  I'm not surprised by the Zune Rapture.

Just Say, No! Fails... Again...

Teens Who Pledge Virginity Often Don’t Keep Their Promise
Teens who pledge to remain virgins until walking down the aisle are just as likely to have sex before marriage as those who don’t promise abstinence, and are less prone to use birth control pills or condoms when they do, a new study published in the January issue of the journal Pediatrics says.

Study author Janet E. Rosenbaum of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health looked at data collected from an estimated 3400 students who had been virgin or taken a virginity pledge in 1995.

She drew a comparison between 289 youngsters who were 17 years old on average in 1996, when they took a virginity pledge, orally or in writing, and 645 who didn’t vow to refrain but were otherwise similar.

The results showed that taking a pledge “doesn’t seem to make any difference at all in any sexual behavior,” Rosenbaum said. By 2001, 82% of students who had taken a pledge had withdrawn their promise. Besides, there was little difference in the number of participants in both groups who had had sex, the age at which they lost their virginity or their number of sexual partners, the study found.

Researchers also found that the percentage of students who protected against pregnancy was 10 points lower for those who had taken a virginity pledge.

According to Sarah Brown of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, "this study again raises the issue of why the federal government is continuing to invest in abstinence-only programs."

Earlier studies disclosed that virginity vows decreased sexual activity in teenagers ages 12 to 17.

USA 100 Years Behind.

How The Poor Die - Essay by George Orwell
Moreover, the national health insurance has partly done
away with the idea that a working-class patient is a pauper who deserves
little consideration. Well into this century it was usual for "free"
patients at the big hospitals to have their teeth extracted with no
anaesthetic. They didn't pay, so why should they have an anaesthetic--
that was the attitude. That too has changed.
