Chicago Tribune news : Nation/World: "President Bush was taken from his residence to an underground location as senators, representatives and hundreds of people in the Capitol were ordered away from the building."

People are sheep. We are being prepared for more war, more attacks on American soil and more tax cuts for the rich.

VIOLENCE IN IRAQ: Marines, sailor killed by bomb and gunfire

VIOLENCE IN IRAQ: Marines, sailor killed by bomb and gunfire: "The deaths brought to 42 the number of fatalities U.S. troops have suffered from hostile fire in the first half of the month, a figure that is already higher than that for all of June 2004, according to Iraq Coalition Casualty Count, a Web site that uses official casualty reports to organize deaths by various criteria.

The Marines died in a roadside bomb explosion Wednesday; the sailor attached to the Marines' unit, the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, was killed by small-arms fire the same day.

U.S. officials also announced Thursday that they've captured a man they believe is a top lieutenant of terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of Al Qaeda in Iraq.

If true, the detention of Mohammed Khalaf -- also known as Abu Talha -- could be a significant dent in the al-Zarqawi organization, believed to be behind many of the suicide bombings that have killed thousands of Iraqis."

MercuryNews.com | 06/17/2005 | Sunnis accept deal in Iraq to increase their political role: "Pass on decisions

That group of 70 would make its decisions through consensus and then send those decisions to the 55 legislators for ratification.

The Sunni Arabs had demanded 25 more representatives on the committee, but Shiite and Kurdish legislators would only agree to 13. The compromise gave the Sunni Arabs 17 seats, two more than the 15 held by the Kurds who, like the Sunni Arabs, account for up to 20 percent of Iraq's estimated 26 million people."

Roadside Bomb Kills Five Marines in Iraq - Yahoo! News

Roadside Bomb Kills Five Marines in Iraq - Yahoo! News: "The Marines died Wednesday after their vehicle was attacked near Ramadi, 70 miles west of Baghdad, the military said. Officials in Ramadi had reported a roadside bomb blast in the pre-dawn hours."

"The six U.S. deaths raised Wednesday's toll from insurgent attacks to 58 killed, making it the deadliest day of violence in more than a month."

It's only going to get worse. We do not have the troop strength, we do not have the political support at home (The Republican's are not funding ground troops, deal with it), and we do not have the political support of the Iraqi people.

Either do what it takes to win (draft and spend) or get out.

Looking Again At GM s Proposed 25 000 Job Cut

Looking Again At GM s Proposed 25 000 Job Cut

As the car makers go, so goes the American economy.

It is not the health care costs or the union deals. It is the plain and simple result of what happens when people can not afford to pay the full cost of a car.

The disposable car makers, Kia et. al. are to blame for the price restrictions. Once again, non organized foreign labor sweat shops win the day.

I find it funny how the American people just lach on to whatever someone tells them and runs.
